My name is Marta, and I am the person behind @ByMartaFalcon. I was born and raised in Colombia, and I am now residing in Miami since 2005. I am a Graphic Designer, mother, wife, and the chief of my household! My daily struggle is to become a superwoman and do everything I want to achieve in a given day! I discovered the universe of polymer clay at the end of 2020.  In these challenging times, I have been able to continue to exploit my creativity, which fills me deeply, takes me away from the daily routine, and makes me very happy!

I started molding dough in college, and my degree thesis was an animated movie with dough characters.  Later I worked teaching children to mold dough.

Here in the USA, my approach to this technique was with Play-Doh to improve fine motor skills in my 1-year-old daughter; now she’s 10, and molding is part of our favorite hobbies.

I saw some earrings in polymer clay, and I couldn’t believe it; an unknown universe opened up for me; being able to create colors, textures, and finishes in an infinity of cuts and shapes is my new passion!
